Raw pictures from vacation

We were back east for several weeks and I collected pictures from Alicia, Mom, Dad, and all the pictures from Joy's camera (dating back over a year). You can find these at Http://LeeHart.Com/2006Vacation/

Victoria's first haircut

We recently took Victoria for her first haircut.

The next day Virginia went on her first roller coaster rides at Redmond Derby Days. We didn't take any pictures of that, but she certainly seemed to enjoy the rides.

Even more pictures (Victoria's Dedication, Easter, Erik's wedding)

I have some more (raw, unedited) pictures posted at <Http://LeeHart.Com/2006-05-20/>. I hope to prune and label these odd sets of pictures soon. I just need work to settle down first...

More pictures

These need to be reviewed some more - when that happens I'll link to them from my website.

We moved!

I'm sorry that my blog and web pages have not been updated recently. We started moving a few weeks ago; most things from the house are moved, but we still have a fair bit of stuff from the garage and shed to move.

Pictures of our new house (pre-sale) can be seen here.

Kristen and I are both on parental leave through October. She returns to work on Halloween; I'll remain on leave until after Christmas. Victoria will start day care in mid November, so I should have time to get the house in order.

Finally posting 6 months of pictures

I've been slow in updating my web site. Once I got behind, I didn't add new pictures because I wanted to get the older ones posted first.

I'm sitll missing a bunch of pictures (I think they are on one of my CompactFlash cards); I'll add those when I come across them.

When I'm done pruning pictures and adding lables, I'll link to this page from LeeHart.Com and VirginiaHart.us main pages.

Virginia continues to grow like a (thin) weed

She seems to be pulling away from the 95th percentile in height, and shrinking from the 50th percentile in weight. She's a beanpole - if she's wearing disposable diapers I've seen her pants fall down because she doesn't have a big butt. If we put on pants that fit her butt, they are too short (aka highwaters).

Baby don't got back.

Start of the terrible twos

She's climbing everything, and more frequently is ignoring  "No" commands. We know it'll get worse before it gets better.

Her two uncles have decided to move back east. That's a shame - her uncle Brady has been a great babysitter.

Little kisses

Virginai has started to give little kisses, puckering up. Very cute, and of course she likes our reactions.

Pictures from the ultrasounds posted

I finally scanned the pictures from the ultrasounds and posted them - check them out at Http://LeeHart.Com/Preggers2.Html

Place your bets on whether that is a boy or a girl.

Trying this out

I thought I'd give this a try. I'm planning on setting up a Community Server on my home server, but I thought I'd try MSN's offering. I've not been a fan of MSN for many years (probably stemming from their refusal to support Windows NT for too many years, plus things I heard from a developer on the team in the early days), but I'll admit that they are slowly improving. (Except Gmail spanks HoTMaiL in nearly every possible way, but particularly in the intuitive UI and message handling).

Who am I? I'm a long-time Microsoft employee (I have worked there for more than 11 out of the past 13.5 years). After burning out after 7 or 8 years, I finally left after 10 years, took a few years off to travel and try working for a small company, and then I returned to a much lower stress group.
